Well, here we go…
Here we go indeed. I wonder if anyone will listen to this crap?
Good luck guys!
Yep we do listen to this pretty nice format !
Good Job !
I listened to this crap. It was… craptastic! Great job guys! Love it. Caw, CAW!
You’ve set the bar too high. How can episode two possibly compete with Al Dean’s smooth British wit and seasoned wisdom?
Other than that, needs more cowbell.
Wow, good point Nate. I’m actually thinking of firing myself and hiring Al instead.
Haha, killer! Be sure to send in your questions for next week’s cadjunkie Q&A: send an audio file to adam@evd1.tv
This is great, by far the most entertaining podcast on a subject that is otherwise completely uninteresting.
Keep it up!
Hahahaha! Now I now why my son and I don’t always agree. I’m an mechanical engineer an he is an industrial designer! It is all so clear now.
Good Job guys!
Josh, move two inches further from the mic. Adam, 1.25 inches closer. Both of you, find more British engineer/designer friends or at least New Englanders that can fake a passable British accent and you shall never lack listenership. Of course it’s a word; I just used it. To reiterate Scott Bruins, Well done on taking typically dull subject matter and getting me down right giggly,
Nice. I tried to get Al on many times and after a lot of explicit wording, he was out so congrats on that! Nice job guys and I hope the editing was not to hard on you. I know how that goes. Love to see the audio format and roundtables are the way to go. I have had issues nailing down people to have a consistent show but I hope to hear more from you guys.
The format is on task and the length is perfect! Keep up the great work! ~Lou
If you ever want to interview my cat let me know. He’s pretty lazy and isn’t good with numbers, so he’s probably more of a designer.
And also, you should consider this a good start.
Wow that was awesome for a first episode podcast. I’m glad I crawled out of bed for this. Good Job.
Thanks for the feedback, guys! It’s a big help. We’re noobs when it comes to this stuff, but we definitely hope the production quality goes up with each episode. Since recording E01 we’ve actually bought fancy-schmancy new mics, so hopefully E02 will sound a lot cleaner.
Really like the content and approach guys. Educating and entertaining. Edutaining. Entercational. A piece of trivia for your next episode: what PLM executive has received an Acadamy Award?
Dora
Fantastic work, guys. Loved every minute of it. Particularly enjoyed the Q&A with Al. The questions posed at 17:50, 18:30, and 19:30 were particularly thought provoking. I hope these questions will continue to be examined in future episodes.
Thanks for the shout out guys! So rad!
Amazing. Truly. I’d really love to hear the one about the pedophile and the werewolf, though. I’d say this is far better than a good start. As an X-engineer with no design skills and a complete and utter lack of ANY knowledge of what you guys were talking about, I still thought it engaging and, well, it even sounded like you know what you’re talking about.
Finally, BRILLIANT choice of first guest. Brilliant.
Go, boys!
Exactly what it should be, enertaining, different and about things I don’t care about. Everybit as silly as the senior project I did at CCS when you were in diapers! I look forward to the next one!!
Hilarious and informative. Al Dean is quite a character. All in all, an excellent show – hopefully the first of many! :D
Fun, Informative, Innovative and AWESOME!!
This is just like being a conference with you guys, except I think I need to go get some beer out of the fridge to complete the experience.
Great first show guys. Really hope this keeps up. Love the format and humor!! Looking forward to the next one!!
Al delivers in every way I expected. Great show guys. Also, did I hear a call for CAD standards in the tips & tricks?
Thanks Joe! Had to start it of right :) You’re right, we need to jump on some o’ that sweet CAD standard material.
Just found this, and it is going into my podcast downloads list.
Great work.
Just found this as well. Fantastic stuff. Looks like I’m spending the rest of the afternoon listening to the other weeks…Keep up the good work.
